Some thoughts after camp

Camp's over and I've been thinking. Here are my thoughts.

• Part of the reason I've been so quick to crush on someone else is from fear of being alone
• Physical activity does indeed improve your mood, even if it's not "working out"
• What seems simple to you can seem very complex to someone else
• What seems complex to you can seem very simple to someone else
• Don't put yourself down by comparing yourself to others
• Joy ≠ happiness
• It is God who ordains the time for everything – be patient! and do not despair
• Sometimes the action-nonaction of the I Ching is desirable, that is, you must assess the situation and be measured. Other times, you must act immediately with courage, like St. George or St. Theodore.
• Go lift weights.

In giving birth you preserved your virginity, in falling asleep you did not forsake the world o Theotokos. You were translated into life, O Mother of Life, and by your prayers you deliver our souls from death.

Rejoice O Father Raphael! Adornment of the holy Church! Joy of all the Orthodox, son of Antioch, boast of America, intercede with Christ God for us, and for all who honor thee!

My soul seeks Thee early in the night watches, for Thy commandments are a light upon the earth.
